Just finished building this excellent model. She sails beautifully. Although there were a few challenges I understand the kit has now been substantially improved, making it easier to build. ie Laser cut bridge parts. At 619mm long and with around two hundred resin and die cast fittings it is excellent value IMO.

I have been sailing my Dean's HMS Skirmisher for almost four years, at least once a week. She sails superbly and I would recommend her to anyone. I have since bought several Dean's ships and have been pleased with all of them

A superb semi kit from the Deans range. In fact the best detailed warship so far. This is a long awaited class of escort. The P.E. fret detail in the kit is second to none, allowing for superb detail in the mast and bridge wing supports. The hull has very detailed plating and wash deck ports. Everyone builds a Flower class corvette - maybe not now that the Castles have arrived !I recommend this excellent kit. My third Deans build.

Well pleased with this LCM 6 which I have just finished. Sails beautifully and the kit "does what it says on the tin"!

This was my first ship I spent two years on her so I have thought this a great way to get into the hobby and this is a great model very detailed

I served on a tribal class so this was an ideal starter boat for me, the kit is superb, all the parts were well made and the hull was well formed, the attention to details is remarkable, she sails well , I added extra detail with the addition of a converted westland scout into a wasp , and a couple of other bits. I fitted smoke generators and moving radar , my only critic is the fiddly brass etching for the mast , the first time you try to make it without knowing the tricks, but that does not in any way detract from this great model , the team at Deans were helpful and supportive , cant wait for the wife to say I can have another boat from them
